Adobe/Macromedia

Adobe/Macromedia produces the most widely used web-development software employed by web professionals. It is the software the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) uses to produce pages for its web site, and it is the only software we use in our own web site development.

ADD VIDEO SEGMENTS TO YOUR WEB SITE

Many clients have wished to include video segments on their web sites.  Contribute has tools for dosing so, but first one must convert the existing video file into a format that is suitable for use on the web (most video files are far too large to download to a web page).  We recently did a review of low cost, easy to use, video editing software products to find a solution we could recommend to others and use on some of our client sites.

A Non-Web Resource - Print Documents in Booklet Form

Although this is not a Web Resource, there is a software tool that I have used for over ten years, and find to be one of the best print utilities on the Markey.  ClickBook is a printer driver that organizes the pages of your documents so they can be printed in booklet form.  For example, if you are printing out a directory of names and addresses, you can print them out so that when finished, you fold the stack in half and have an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2booklet with all the pages inthe proper order.  It also enables you toprint outdocuments in adoubleside format, saving a considerable amount of paper.  The cost of the product is $49.95.  It is a Windows product, and works with all versions (I am using it with Windows Vista).   To learn more, click on the image that appears to the right.
